Challenge

To build a workspace that facilitated productive collaborative work while reflecting the legacy and culture of the organization.

 

Philosophy

A design that would challenge conventions and bring Great West’s approach to work alive in their workspace.

 

Solution 

Great West Global’s legacy and corporate culture are seamlessly integrated into the entire office with the use of materials, colour palettes and spatial planning.

 

The design took a minimalistic approach to the workspace with clean white laminated surfaces, offset with warm wood tones, natural marble, simple carpet patterns accentuated with an occasional punch of colour in the workspace.

 

The cafeteria stretched beyond the minimalistic boundaries set by rest of the office. This generous space was a playful mixture of rows of stylish tables in the center flanked by compact table seating on sides for a more private working lunch. The monotony of neutral colors were broken by the domed pendant lights and yellow lacquered glasses in the café.
